Projects School 2020 at MarSU
On the eve of the summer forum campaign, a design school has opened at Mari State University, where students can learn how to turn their idea into a project, defend it and present their initiatives and themselves.
The projects school is a project operating at MarSU since 2017, designed to form the basic skills of project activities among our students, to instill in them the skills of innovative activity.
The first lesson in the framework of the new season of the project took place on March 4. Concerned students gathered at the Boiling Point: someone came up with an emerging idea, someone already had experience of participating in grant campaigns, and someone just became interested in the opportunity to prove themselves.
At an introductory lesson, potential participants of the Projects School were told about key (and largest!) Forums and competitions: “iVolga”, “Territory of Senses”, “Tavrida”, the All-Russian contest of youth projects among individuals and universities from Rosmolodezh. Students were able to ask clarifying questions about the particularities of filling out grant applications, the necessary documents, and the nuances regarding filling out estimates.
In addition, the event presented successful cases from 2019 MSU grants. Yana Semenova, head of the Center for Cultural and Creative Activities of MarSU, and Alexandra Fisenko, a student of the historical and philological faculty, spoke about their projects. Recall that last year, Yana won 200,000 rubles for the implementation of the project “Memnan Tukym Theater of Finno-Ugric Peoples,” and Alexandra won a grant of 175,000 rubles with the project “Istfil Ball: for all the legends of antiquity”.
In a word, the start of the Projects School 2020 is given, and moreover, it is very successful! The second lesson for those who really wanted to come, but did not have time, will be held March 10 at 16.00 in the "Boiling Point".
