Projects of MarSU teachers within the Erasmus +: Jean Monnet project received the support from the European Union!
Erasmus + is a European Union (EU) program that supports projects, partnerships, events and mobility in the fields of education, vocational training, youth work and sports. The program provides funding for the development of cooperation in all these areas, both between European countries and between European countries and partner countries around the world.
The first module was prepared by a team consisting of the leader - Maria Romanova, Associate Professor of the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology, as well as performers - Svetlana Romanova, Head of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology, Elena Krysova, Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology.
This module is titled “European Union: Integration as a Path to Social Stability”. The main objective of the module is to expand knowledge about the role of consolidation of countries and peoples as an important condition for the development and improvement of the welfare state and civil society. Within the framework of the project, it is planned to implement a new course on the topic of the module for students of the Mari State University, as well as to hold a series of events for the general public: a foresight session, round tables, master classes, and exciting contests. We hope that the project will contribute to the growth of civic engagement and literacy of future specialists in a more effective solution of social problems in modern Russia, the formation of openness to the experience of European states in this area.
Another module is called "Bilingual or Bilingual European Studies". Its leader is Nadezhda Krasnova, head of the department of intercultural communication. The main direction of this module is to improve the quality of regional and linguistic training of international students, primarily specializing in EU-Russia relations. This module should help students of the "International Relations" field of study not only better master the vocabulary of European integration and the "Brussels bureaucracy", but also at an in-depth level to study the complex political, economic and socio-cultural processes taking place in the EU member states, as well as their influence on Russia.
We wish the managers the best in their projects!
