Knowledge Day was celebrated at MarSU

The presentation of student cards to freshmen was harmoniously complemented by traditional performances by student assets of faculties and institutes, including in a video format.

There was also a place for some surprises.. For example, the freshmen of the Institute of National Culture and Intercultural Communication were greeted by the Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, a representative from the executive body of state power of the Republic of Mari El, Honorary Professor of MarGU Konstantin Kosachev. He presented student cards to the freshmen of the International Relations direction, and also gave an open lecture to all those present on the topic “Modern Trends in the Development of International Politics”.

“MarSU, one of the most successful universities in the Russian Federation, has everything you need to develop a highly qualified specialist,” said Konstantin Iosifovich in his speech.

The truly first holiday on September 1 was for the new Institute of Digital Technologies. For his freshmen in an online format, a lecture was organized by the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Activities of MarSU, Deputy General Director for Scientific Work of the RTI named after Academician A.L. Mints Anatoly Leukhin, initiated by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia. Its theme sounded like this: "Scientific directions of the Institute of Digital Technologies".

After the official part of the Knowledge Day and a lunch break, MarSU students will have an active rest. Within the framework of the "MarSU StudFitness" project, supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, "Akpars-MarSU" has prepared a large sports festival especially for them, where everyone can spend time with benefit. The main thing is fun and safe!
