A new gym was opened at MarSU

The opening ceremony was attended by the rector of the Mari State University Mikhail Shvetsov. After the opening speech, he cut the red ribbon together with the dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism Mikhail Polevshchikov and the head of the student sports club "Akpars-MarSU" Vladislav Mashurov.

The continuation of the ceremony was bright and active: there were basketball and volleyball matches, and in the interval between games there was a three-point championship. According to the results of sports activities, the basketball club "Akpars-MarSU" won a victory over the team of graduates with a score of 51:27. The women's volleyball team of MarSU beat the MMZ team in three games - 2: 1. The rector of MarSU presented the prizes to the winners.

Now MarSU students have a comfortable, modern, functional room for physical culture and sports, including as part of the implementation of the MarSU StudFitness grant, which, we recall, received a grant support of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science in the amount of 25 million rubles.
