MarSU signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Mari El

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Mari El Natalya Adamova, the rector of the Mari State University Mikhail Shvetsov, vice-rectors, directors and deans of the university, as well as representatives of the leadership of educational institutions of the region. The main topics for discussion were teacher training in the context of modern educational policy, the development of the pedagogical education system and the training of personnel for psychological and pedagogical support of students in educational organizations. In her report, the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Mari El Natalya Adamova noted that there is still a shortage of teachers in the schools of the city and districts (for 2021 this figure is 330), but at the moment the regional government and subordinate organizations are taking steps to increase the number teaching staff. MarSU Rector Mikhail Shvetsov emphasized the importance of solving the problem of low wages, proposing the idea of introducing a minimum wage for teachers.

The project of the Center for Scientific and Methodological Support of MarSU was also presented, the purpose of which is to develop and implement a model of high-quality integrated continuous training of teachers who can effectively apply modern digital technologies in their professional activities, conduct scientific and pedagogical research using the capabilities of digital resources and services, effectively manage the educational process based on the use of digital tools. Recall that in 2020, MarSU successfully implemented the project of the Center for Methodological Support and Support of Distance Learning in Schools, which was joined by seven schools in the region.

Within the framework of the round table, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the university and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Mari El. The parties undertake to combine efforts, opportunities and intellectual potential in the training and education of specialists, creating the necessary conditions for social support, adaptation and rehabilitation of students and graduates, development and improvement of educational, methodological, research and consulting activities, as well as the organization and conduct of pedagogical practices.
