Priority 2030: Development of Russian-Indian Relations
On October 11, a solemn ceremony of signing a roadmap on cooperation between Mari State University and the Center for International Education within the framework of the Priority 2030 program of the University as a Center for the Development and Export of Educational Services project took place.
Within the framework of this roadmap, active work to implement joint projects, improve the quality of educational, scientific and personnel activities, as well as increase the number of Indian citizens studying at Mari State University will be carried.
For MarSU, this is a very significant cooperation - a large number of Indian students study at the university, mainly in medical specialties. Practice bases will be created for students of the Medical Institute of MarSU and a modern medical clinic will be opened very soon.
Now for students of the Medical Institute practical classes are held on the basis of the Center for Accreditation and Simulation Training, which was visited by a delegation of Indian partners from the Center for International Education together with the rector of MarSU Mikhail Shvetsov.
Recall that in October 2021, the Ministry of Science of the Russian Federation announced the participants in the Priority 2030 strategic academic leadership program. Mari State University became one of 106 universities, whose development programs were highly appreciated by the commission.
