Jean Monnet Module - The EU as a Model of Globalization: Experience, Values, Perspectives

On November 23, a round table was held at Mari State University: “EU Experience in Solving Global Problems: Environmental Problems”. The event was held as part of the project of the Jean Monnet Erasmus + program, implemented with the support of the European Union.

On November 3, 2017, as a part of a meeting of the Methodological Association of Social Science Teachers, the head of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology of Mari State University Svetlana Romanova conducted a master class entitled “Integration of EU knowledge in the teaching of social disciplines at school”. The event was organized as part of the Jean Monnet project of the Erasmus + program and was held at the Medvedev Secondary School No. 2.

How to get to know Europe, its history, traditions, culture? The answer to these questions was received by students of Mari State University, as well as students of general educational organizations of the city of Yoshkar-Ola - participants in the profile shift "Foreign Language", held at the Olympiets sports and recreation camp on Lake Yalchik.

On July 5, 1017, at the Olympiets SOL, the Federal State Budgetary Educational Establishment of Higher Education Mari State University, a master class called “Learning Europe” was held for participants in the profile shift “Foreign Language”.

On June 22, 2017, Mari State University hosted the presentation of certificates to participants in the supplementary education program “EU as a Model of Globalization: Experience, Values, Perspectives”. The training was conducted from March to May 2017 as part of a project implemented with the financial support of the Erasmus + program of the European Union.

Mari State University took part in the competition of international projects under the Erasmus + program. The project application “The EU as a Model of Globalization: Experience, Values, Perspectives” won the competition within the framework of the Jean Monnet module and was highly praised by the international evaluation committee.
