The Delegation from MarSU Took Part in PRIORITY FEST

The purpose of the event was to exchange experience, tools and expertise, as well as discuss plans on creating new consortia and partnerships. The event was co-organized by the Federal State Autonomous Scientific Institution Center for Sociological Research ("Sociocenter"), the operator of the largest state development programs in the field of science and higher education in the Russian Federation. The organization provides organizational, technical, informational, methodological, expert-analytical support of the state program "Priority 2030".

The delegation of MarSU consisted of Konstantin Belosludtsev, Vice-Rector for Innovation, Head of the strategic project "University as a center for the development of breakthrough Medical High-tech and Educational Technologies", Dina Semenova, Head of the Project Office, and Vyacheslav Vinogradov, Head of the Open Education Center of MarSU, Head of the Digital Departments project.

The event was attended by Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Science and Higher Education of the State Duma Sergey Kabyshev, Deputy of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia Dmitry Afanasyev, Deputy of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia Konstantin Mogilevsky, Acting Director of the Federal State Autonomous Scientific Institution Center for Sociological Research ("Sociocenter") Andrey Keller, Deputy Director General of the State Corporation "Rostec" Nikolai Volobuev and Rector of MGIMO Anatoly Torkunov. Following the analogy with the previous year, the event was attended by vice-rectors of Russian universities, heads of project offices, and leaders of strategic and institutional projects of universities participating in "Priority 2030". The total number of participants is about 700 people.

PRIORITY FEST in 2023 consisted of four plenary sessions, during which the role of universities as drivers of territorial, sectoral development, and research leadership was discussed. Special sessions were devoted to the financial model of university functioning, the conceptualization of university strategies, applied aspects of project and international activities and digital competencies.

Within the framework of twenty breakout sessions, universities discussed specific topics of project implementation, depending on the fields of the university.
