SETA-2020 for the first time in Russia: MarSU is one of the organizers
The next International Conference on Sequences and Their Applications will be held for the first time in Russia and MarSU is organizing it in cooperation with St. Petersburg LETI.
Previously, the conference was held in China, Australia, Canada, France, USA, South Korea, Norway and Singapore. The eleventh SETA will operate September 22-25 this year in St. Petersburg.
What is SETA
SETA is the leading international conference in the field of sequences and their applications for communication and cryptography. This is a forum that brings together the most advanced representatives of the research communities in the above areas, covers all fundamental and computational aspects and features of their implementation. The conference will address issues of aperiodic and periodic correlation of sequences, correlation and transformation of Boolean functions, multidimensional sequences, a pseudo-random sequence generator, wireless communications and many others.
Why MarSU?
It’s a sad thing that the SETA participants will not see our beautiful city, but it is impossible not to agree that today, such a number of guests in a big city as St. Petersburg is easier to accept.
The fact that our university has become a partner in St. Petersburg is not surprising. MarSU has significant experience in international cooperation - more than 30 foreign partner universities, and joint research and exchange programs are conducted with universities in Europe, America and Asia. In addition, one of the priorities of our university is the creation of a highly developed infrastructure for all types of scientific activities. On the basis of the university, there is an Engineering Center in the field of production of onboard radar systems for remote sensing of the Earth. The work carried out by the engineering center is important not only for the military-industrial complex, but also for the civilian industry. In a word, MarSU contributes to the technological breakthrough of our country and he does it very successfully!
