The results of the III International Competition COUNTRY OF READING - 2022 are summed up: Mari State University students are among the winners
Students of Mari State University have become winners and prize-winners of the III International Competition of Media Projects - Book Trailers "Country of Chitalia - 2022".
The aim of the contest is popularization of books and reading, motivation increase for meaningful leisure reading through mastering the methods of media projecting by creation of advertising video clips - booktrailers. Objectives of the competition:
- To create an image of books and reading that is attractive to today's youth;
- Creating new information resources for promoting books and reading in educational institutions of all levels and types;
- to support the formation of professional and personal "growth points" for teachers and parents.
The organizers of the contest are the Russian State Children's Library and the All-Russian Centre for Development of Artistic Creativity and Humanitarian Technologies. The contest experts were teachers and staff of publishing houses Russkoye Slovo and Antologiya, Moscow Institute for Lifelong Learning Development, Interregional Tutor Association, and Interactive Education information and publication magazine.
In 2022, independent experts have evaluated more than 700 media booklet projects, their authors representing 13 countries of the world, 205 cities of the Russian Federation.
The competition was held in 8 nominations in various age categories.
Kiseleva Kseniya Kiseleva (Faculty of Philosophy, gr.OB-12) took the first place in the nomination "Wisdom of the Teacher". She prepared a book reader based on the book of V. Rasputin "Lessons of French". In the same nomination second place went to Shabalina Elena (INKiMK, gr. RМ-12) and her book reader N. Solomko "White Horse - not my woe" and third place - Anastasia Lisina (IPhF, gr. OB-13) with a book reader by N. Horowitz-Kleinbaum "Society of Dead Poets.
In the category "Quotes for Life" the second place was taken by Rinat Yusupov (Faculty of Philosophy, gr. FTs-41) with the book "Dandelion Wine" by R. Bredberry
A special nomination in the contest "Country-reading" in 2022 is "Books about folk art and cultural heritage. Here the third place was taken by Juliana Yermolaeva (Faculty of Arts and Crafts, gr.РМ-22) with a book reader by O. Shabdar "The woman's way.
