In April, Mari State University became one of the leading regional venues of the first stage of a new project of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) "League of the Future", which aims to gather and implement the best ideas and projects of the young generation of Russians.
The large-scale foresight for young people was in full swing at more than 10,000 sites across the country.
The project began with the training of moderators. They acted as guides for the ideas of the League of the Future and also helped participants in the discussion and development stages of the initiatives. The pool of moderators comprised over 10,000 people from all regions of Russia, including16 staff members from Mari State University.
For a fortnight moderators from Mari State University held creative sessions for everyone, aimed at enabling young people to become co-creators of change and, together with the country's leaders, the business community, public and political figures, introduce new ideas and meanings into the development of Russia. Over 500 students participated in the brainstorming sessions, and over 200 of them generated ideas and submitted them for the contest.
It is planned that the final stage of the project will be the All-Russian Forum of New Meanings. There, the authors of promising projects and ideas will present their initiatives to the country's leadership, representatives of the business community, and major public institutions. As a result, the best projects will be assisted in their implementation. Support for the initiatives will continue throughout the year.
We await the results and wish good luck to our participants!
