Students of Mari State University took part in the district subbotnik
Although May has not yet come, the work is already here, it is especially relevant now, when the snowdrifts have melted, revealing to the eye the garbage and leaves left over from the fall. This Saturday in the yard of 114 Karla Marksa Street music was playing, and students with trash bags, pitchforks and shovels were clearing the area: collecting trash, branches, raking leaves, preventing the sprouting of grass.
Residents of neighboring buildings came to the rescue when they saw the students' initiative. By joint efforts of almost two hours the territory was visibly transformed. All in all, about 20 students took part in the clean-up, collecting about 20 bags of garbage together with the citizens!
