Mari State University has signed a cooperation agreement with the regional branch of the "Russian Historical Society"

Let us remind you that on December 21, 2021 the regional branch of "The Russian Historical Society" was formed.

This cooperation aims at introducing new forms of historical educational activities, organizing and conducting joint conferences, exhibitions, training sessions and other events on historical and other topics, sharing experiences and joint membership of the parties in working groups, expert councils and other advisory bodies.

During the conversation the rector of Mari State University Mikhail Shvetsov and the Chairman of the Council of the Association "Russian Historical Society" in the Republic of Mari El and the Director of the State Archive of the Republic of Mari El Alexander Odintsov discussed the importance of developing a sense of patriotism in the younger generation and the preservation of historical truth.
