The Institute trains highly qualified specialists for the agricultural enterprises. Students have the opportunity to conduct research work in the Problem Laboratory "Methods and means of increasing crop yields" and opportunity to receive working professions at the Department of Mechanization of Production and Processing of Agricultural Products. Every year, several students undergo practical training at German farms under the LOGO e.V. and PRAXХ programs.

There are Department of Livestock Production Technology, Department of Mechanization of Production and Agricultural Processing, Department of Storage Technology and Processing of Crop Products, Department of Technology of Meat and Dairy Products, Department of General Agriculture, Plant Growing, Agrochemistry and Plant Protection.
