The Department of Scientific and Innovation Activities oversees the research work of students and academic staff of the university, implements and promotes the scientific developments of the university, develops the financial basis of research activities, expands scientific and technical cooperation of the university with institutions and organizations of the real sector of the economy, and also conducts research projects.
