The Faculty trains professionals in the field of mathematics, computer sciences, physics and materials science. Undergraduate and postgraduate students participate in joint research projects in physical and mathematical sciences with scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences and leading universities of Russia and abroad. Graduates of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics successfully work at high-tech enterprises.

There are Department of Mathematical Analysis and Theory of Functions, Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics, Department of Physics and Materials Science, Basic Department of Design and Production of Ceramic Products, Microelectronics, Basic Department of 1C-Technology.
