An unusual, but no less interesting way of spending leisure time was proposed to residents of Yoshkar-Ola on January 16. On this day, on the basis of the historical and philological faculty of Mari State University, with the active participation of students and teachers, a holy youth evening was held.
At first, all its participants learned that “Christmas time” and “scary week” are nothing more than a week of fun and joker, when mummers went to their houses, young people sang carols, had fun and wondered about their fate. Then everyone plunged into a rich and very bright program. They performed traditional dances, for example, “on the river” and “Krakowyak”, tried sacred and traditional folk games, divined and played each other, and most importantly - talked a lot.
More than 60 people attended the evening, and together they managed to create a warm, family atmosphere, having felt that no one could sit aside!
