On the eve of the summer forum campaign, a design school has opened at Mari State University, where students can learn how to turn their idea into a project, defend it and present their initiatives and themselves.

From February 26 to February 28, 2020, the III All-Russian Student Olympiad in Pedagogy “FORSIGHT-PEDAGOGY” was held at the Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University named after Kozma Minin, which brought together participants from all over the country: from Blagoveshchensk and Yakutsk to Rostov -on-Don and Maykop. The team of students in the pedagogical direction of training at the Mari State University took part in the Olympiad for the third time.

Representatives of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Russian Federal Nuclear Center All-Russian Research Institute of Experimental Physics (Sarov) paid a working visit to our university.

Beginning in 1973, the Center for Nuclear and Radiation Physics of the RFNC-VNIIEF has been compiling experimental data obtained in the reactions of interaction of light nuclei with charged particles. The purpose of the Olympiad is to contribute to the formation of students' competencies in the languages ​​and literature of the Finno-Ugric peoples; expand the range of cognitive interests of students in the field of Finno-Ugric studies.

Mari State University has become a unique venue for the circles activity, so schoolchildren and students of the Mari El Republic will have the opportunity to effectively prepare for the Olympiad of the National Technology Initiative (NTI). The NTI Olympiad has established itself as a mechanism to support breakthrough promising projects in Russia.

From February 17 to February 21, 2020, the VIII Open Regional Championship “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) of the Republic of Mari El was held.

The professional skill competition was held in 31 competencies on the basis of 12 educational organizations. 315 contestants took part in the competition. Among them were three 3-year students of the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy with the competence “Preschool Education”. The site was organized on the basis of the Orshan Multidisciplinary College.
