MarSU students completed their Language Internship in Shanghai

During the trip, the students attended Chinese language classes, where they learned new characters, practiced dialogues, and wrote dictations. They met teachers and students from various countries and purchased Chinese literature for further study.

The cultural portion of the program was no less intense. The students visited Yuyuan Garden, Shanghai Expo Park, the famous Bund, and Nanjing Road. They attended a Shaoxing Opera performance, participated in a traditional tea ceremony, and sampled Peking duck. A visit to the local market with its souvenirs, spices, and street food left a lasting impression.

The trip was an invaluable experience for improving language skills and getting to know China's rich culture.
