A delegation of participants from the International Youth Festival visited MarSU

The festival delegation included young representatives from 18 countries: Ethiopia, Pakistan, Malaysia, Nigeria, India, Canada, Vietnam, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Argentina, the Republic of Korea, Zambia, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, North Macedonia, and Brazil.

The guests explored the republic’s higher education institutions and engaged with local students. This provided an opportunity not only to discuss the region’s academic offerings but also to foster direct connections among young people from diverse nations.

Additionally, a high-level strategic meeting took place during the visit to MarSU. Distinguished participants included Stanislav Igoshin, Chairman of the Committee for Youth Policy of the Republic of Mari El; Mikhail Shvetsov, Rector of MarSU; and Alexey Rozhentsov, Acting Rector of Volga Tech (Volga State University of Technology). Together with the guests, they discussed international cooperation, youth policy, and the integration of various cultures into the university environment.

Mari El is open to the world! We look forward to new acquaintances and future collaborative projects!
