Students of MarSU took the podium at the regional stage of the WorldSkills championship in R4 competency “Preschool education”
From February 17 to February 21, 2020, the VIII Open Regional Championship “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) of the Republic of Mari El was held.
The professional skill competition was held in 31 competencies on the basis of 12 educational organizations. 315 contestants took part in the competition. Among them were three 3-year students of the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy with the competence “Preschool Education”. The site was organized on the basis of the Orshan Multidisciplinary College. I.K. Glushkova.
For 4 days of competition, future workers in the field of preschool education were asked to perform five different tests using modern technologies, including preparing and conducting an integrated lesson to create a controlled robot model and organize a virtual tour in a mobile dome. The second integrated lesson was on the development of children's speech using ICT equipment. The final task included the development of a joint project of the teacher, children and parents and the presentation of the project results at the parent meeting.
Two more competitive days, young teachers demonstrated their skills in organizing the regime of the afternoon in kindergarten and in organizing the game activities of preschoolers in teaching them the rules of the road.
Our students adequately represented MarSU at the championship, showing themselves to be competent specialists in the field of preschool education and successfully completing all the competitive tasks.

3rd place and a bronze medal of the championship awarded to Lily Lisakova.
