Silver at the international legal conference!
On May 15, 2021, the XII International Conference "Constitutional Foundations and International Standards of Civil Procedure: History, Current State and Ways of Improvement" was held on the basis of the Saratov State Law Academy.
The Faculty of Law of the Mari State University was represented at the conference by the 3rd year student Ekaterina Averina. More than 30 speakers from Saratov, Vladimir, Krasnodar, Ulyanovsk and Samara, as well as from neighboring countries: Belarus (Grodno), Kazakhstan (Nur-Sultan city) and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Ekaterina made a presentation on the topic "Negotiations in civil proceedings" (supervisor: Kondratenko Zarina Kamilevna, head of the department of civil law and procedure, candidate of legal sciences, associate professor). The report reflected the problems of the implementation of this conciliation procedure and proposed options for reforming the Russian civil procedural legislation. Ekaterina showed a high level of oratorical skills, the ability to answer questions posed, to argue her point of view, and according to the results of the section, she took the second prize, for which she was awarded an honorary diploma.
