A series of English-language lectures and consultations on surgery, preparation for the Medical Council of India (FMGE) Screening Test from Raja Manish Singh, MD in surgery from India, will be held for students of the Mari State University Medical Institute from January 2 to 11 as part of the Guest Professor programme.
The visit will focus on preparing students for the Medical Council of India Screening Test, known as the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE), without which future professionals will not be able to practice in the medical field as professional doctors.
Raj Manish Singh works as a general surgeon in Delhi. He has 13 years of experience in the field of surgery. He received his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree in 2009 and became a doctoral candidate in general surgery in 2014.
As a reminder, in September 2021 MarSU became one of the universities participating in the "Priority 2030" strategic academic leadership programme, which outlined the vectors of the university's development for the next nine years. One of the university's projects implies the development of exports of educational services by increasing the number of foreign students, creating an English-speaking educational environment in the university, attracting foreign teachers and joining professional associations and communities of international standing, which will directly affect the quality of education and its vocation at the international level. First and foremost, this applies to medical specialties, which are in particular demand in the modern world.
It should be noted that other lectures and consultations with leading foreign professors in various fields of study are planned as part of the "Guest Professor" programme. This is a unique opportunity for university students and professors not only to gain new knowledge and exchange experiences, but also to meet renowned scientists and practitioners and improve their foreign language skills.
