Mari State University - venue for the regional stage of the All-Russian School Olympiad

From January 11 to February 21 Mari El hosts the regional stage of the All-Russian Schoolchildren Competition.

All in all 351 students from secondary schools of our republic participate in the Olympiad in 12 subjects: French language, literature, Russian language, physical culture, history, English language, mathematics, chemistry, art (world art culture), biology, German language and ecology. On the 11th of January the start of the Olympiad in the French language was given, with welcoming words addressed to the participants by Larissa Revutskaya, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Mari El and Elvira Vorontsova, Mari State University Rector Assistant for Academic Affairs.
