MarSU medical education recognised in Canada and the US

The World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) and Foundation for International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER), which are the creators of the World Directory of Medical Education Institutions, where Mari State University is included, have decided to approve graduate degrees (starting from those received in 2020) of our university by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) and the territorial health authorities in Canada, which will allow our graduates to apply for a place in the US and Canada.

For medical education not only of our university, the Republic of Mari El and Russia, but also worldwide, this is a significant achievement that confirms the positive evaluation of Mari State Medical University by the international medical community. For Mari State University, this is another step in implementing the "Door to the World" concept, which opens new unique opportunities for the university's graduates to continue their studies, live and work all over the world, wherever they will be in demand.
