Case-championship in philosophy and methodology of science
On March 24, 2022 a case-study championship in philosophy and methodology of science was held for undergraduates. On this day the teams of masters had not only to immerse themselves in a number of situational tasks, but also to demonstrate the ability to discuss, analyze information and make a reasoned decision.
Case-championship in philosophy and methodology of science is an effective way to train the skills of analysis and critical examination of information, logical formulation of arguments. The efficiency of such interactive form of learning philosophy and methodology of science is obvious: while solving the cases the students could check their knowledge in the key questions of the history of science, formation and methodology of natural, technical and humanities as well as they "pumped" softskills: communication skills, adaptability, emotional intelligence.
Case-championship ended on a creative note. Mikhail Chernikov, a first-year student of the Agrarian and Technological Institute, performed a blues composition on the harmonica.
