On April 13 in the track and field manege "Arena Mari El" the IX Republican competitions in athletics in memory of brothers G.A. and Y.A. Bobkov were held!

Gennady Bobkov is the first dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Sport and Tourism, Associate Professor, Honored Worker of Physical Education of the Russian Federation.

Yuri Alexandrovich Bobkov is an Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Mari Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.

This year about four hundred participants from Mari El Republic and nearby regions and republics took part in these competitions.
