MarSU at the Republican Field Day
Mari El held the Republican Field Day 2022 in which Mari State University took part, namely the Agrarian and Technological Institute which this year celebrates its 50th anniversary. Mari State University exposition was visited by Yury Zaitsev, the Acting Head of Mari El.
The Field Day is a platform where agricultural producers exchange experiences, establish new contacts, and demonstrate their achievements. Mari State University also presented its developments in the field of digital agriculture: this is the technology of the Engineering Center of the University, which allows to evaluate various qualities of vegetation and soil using remote sensing, and samples of microgreens from the experimental laboratory of city farming.
The exhibition of the university made a positive impression on the guests and participants of the festival, not indifferent to the food security of the region and the whole country.
