On 13 May, Mari State University invites future students to an Online Open Day (in English).

May 14, 2022 at 13:00 Moscow time there will be a Russian educational event "IV Russian Chemical Dictation". The theme of the dictation: "Chemistry - the light of science through the glass of life". Dictation participants will have 45 minutes to answer 25 questions of varying difficulty level. To answer correctly, special scientific knowledge is not required - it is only important to speculate a little, to remember a few examples from life, and, most importantly, to think logically.

From March 28 to April 20, 2022 for the first time the Institute of National Culture and Intercultural Communication hosted an internal university competition on local history "MariEl#Mari El" with the participation of foreign students.

For many years Mari State University has been successfully cooperating with major scientific centres and enterprises of Russia. One of these organizations is the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (National Research University), a leading technical university in the country, which is included in the prestigious rankings of the best universities in the world. In 2022, a new network education programme "Modern Long-Range Radar Systems" was presented at the MarsU Institute of Digital Technologies; it is implemented jointly with MIPT.

Last Thursday, April 28, Mari State University held a sports and dance competition "Startineager - 2022" among students of dormitories!

The Olympiad of Russian language for the students of non-language and language training areas was held from April 19 to 28. It was organized by the Department of Russian language, literature and journalism of Institute of Philology and Humanities. 379 students of Mari State University participated in the Olympiad.

Mari State University from May 3 to June 11, 2022 on the platform INNOV-CLUSTER holds III Youth online forum "Creating the future together with MarSU!" and online contest "TOP-15 Mentors".

On April 22, 2022 the XIV All-Russian Forum "Vivat, France! Students of Mari State University, pupils of general educational and secondary professional educational institutions of the Republic of Mari El took part in it. Students and pupils from the Republic of Tatarstan, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Saratov joined the Forum. The event brought together over 350 participants speaking at various online and offline platforms. André Malraux Gymnasium No. 26 in Yoshkar-Ola became a partner in organizing and holding the Forum.
