The Mari State University Centre for Accreditation and Simulation Training hosted the first class of students of medical classes opened at Baumansky Lyceum as part of the university days. The session was conducted for the children by the director of the centre Victor Nikitin. The students practiced cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques and got acquainted with the equipment of the centre, on the basis of which they are planning to take an extended practical course.

On February 22, 2022 a team of students of Medical Institute of Mari State University traditionally participated in the V Anniversary Interuniversity Human Anatomy Olympiad in Chuvash State University.

I All-Russian Winter Festival of Mass Sports of ASSC of Russia ended in Krasnoyarsk. Mari State University represented the student sports club "Akpars-MarSU" in the competition. Mari State University students achieved several brilliant victories in cross-country skiing.

For the eighth time Mari State University held a festival of languages "LINGVA Territory" on the occasion of the International Mother Language Day, which is celebrated on February 21, and the Year of Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia.
